Strategic Planning Committee Application

The Yomba Shoshone Tribal Council is seeking applicants who are genuinely invested in the future of the Yomba Shoshone Tribe to join the new Yomba Shoshone Strategic Planning Committee.

We welcome Tribal members, descendants, and community members to apply. While we will be screening for qualified professionals, we also want to encourage those who are visionaries and those invested in the future of our Tribe who may not have professional experience.

Applicants should be prepared to commit to virtual meetings up to 2 times per month and volunteer up to 10 working hours per month. The committee will serve at the pleasure of the Tribal Council.

The Committee shall remain in effect until the strategic plan is completed and adopted by

the Tribal Council, or until dissolved by resolution of the Tribal Council.

The deadline to apply for the first round of applications will be February 1, 2026.
